January is tree upkeep in the yard

Usually I wait until January to start shaping trees, so couple more weeks. I have a fig, pomgranite and a peach planted from a seed by my wife. They are all about 2 years old and they are getting alittle shaggy. Peach is the only one still holding on to a few leaves. As seen by the photo the fig didn’t have time to complete its second run of fruit before first frost. I need to trim these off and and clean up some odd branches. The first run of fruit was excellent. About 3 gallons of figs that were very sweet.

The peach on the other hand is really getting crazy as you can see. I have alot of thought ahead on this one. I am not an orchardist some will have to do some research. We had only one so-so peach this last year but the tree is still young. ImageImage
